Study on the Coupled and Coordinated Development of Agricultural Insurance and Agricultural Modernization—In the Case of Gansu Province
With the concept of new quality productivity,new quality productivity in agriculture is mainly expressed as agricultural modernization.This study constructs a comprehensive evaluation system for the development level of agricultural modernization and agricultural insurance in Gansu Province,and uses the entropy value method together with the coupling coordination degree model to analyze the development characteristics of agricultural modernization and agricultural insurance in Gansu Province during the period from 2013 to 2022,and to explore the coupling and coordination relationship between them.It is concluded that:Agricultural modernization and insurance in Gansu have improved,yet insurance lags behind.The coupling degree remains stable at 0.4-0.5,while the coupling coordination degree shows a significant upward trend from 0.1825 to 0.3934.We propose strategies to boost comprehensive development in agricultural modernization and insurance,focusing on local specialties and insurance tailored to demand.
