Study on the Impact of Industrial Digitization on Common Prosperity
Industrial digitalization has an important impact on economic growth and income distribution,and common prosperity also reflects economic development and fruit sharing.Therefore,in order to verify the relationship between industrial digitalization and common prosperity,based on the panel data of 31 provinces in China from 2012 to 2022,the bidirectional fixed effect and intermediary effect empirical tests are applied.The study found that industrial digitalization can promote the improvement of common prosperity,which is still true after a series of robustness tests.Industrial structure upgrading is an important mechanism of action,and industrial digitalization promotes the upgrading of industrial structure,and then promotes the realization of common prosperity.The impact of industrial digitization on common prosperity varies between eastern,central,and western regions,with a more pronounced effect in the eastern and central regions,while the impact in the western region needs to be strengthened.
