The Influence of the Development Level of Digital Economy on the Export of High-Tech Products—Empirical Data from China's Provincial Panel Data
Under the background of information technology,the Digital Economy has become an important driving force for the high-quality development of China's economy.In order to clarify the mechanism of the digital economy on the export trade of high-tech products in China,a comprehensive evaluation index system of the Digital Economy is constructed based on the 2012-2022 panel data of 31 provinces in China,and its impact on the export of high-tech products is empirically analyzed.It also examines the mediating role of Technological Innovation and Human Capital.The results show that digital economy plays a significant role in promoting the export of high-tech products;From the perspective of heterogeneity,the development of Digital Economy in the east,west and central regions of China has a decreasing effect on the export of high-tech products.Digital Economy can indirectly promote the export of high-tech products through Technological Innovation and Human Capital,and Technological Innovation and Human Capital play an intermediary role between the two,and the promotion role of Technological Innovation is more obvious.
