The Goals and Implementation Paths of Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Education—A Literature Review Based on CNKI
Interdisciplinary education has become the direction of undergraduate education reform in China,and how to carry out interdisciplinary education has become a hot topic in higher education research in recent years.By reviewing the core journal literature published on China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)in the past 10 years and taking the goals and implementation paths of interdisciplinary education as the starting point,this paper analyzes the current research status and characteristics of interdisciplinary education in China's undergraduate stage.It was found that current research on interdisciplinary undergraduate education focuses on problem oriented interdisciplinary integration,emphasizing the joint role of multiple mechanisms and the application of information technology in interdisciplinary education.Five research directions worth paying attention to were proposed,including interdisciplinary learning communities,interdisciplinary teacher collaboration mechanisms,interdisciplinary education for applied undergraduate programs,interdisciplinary teaching models under intelligent technology,and empirical testing of interdisciplinary education effectiveness.
