An Empirical Study on the Impact of Digital Economy and Green Innovation on Regional Economic Resilience
Amidst the emerging challenges,enhancing the resilience of urban economic systems against external risks and shocks is pivotal to ensuring steady and high-quality economic growth of cities.Based on panel data from 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2022,this paper delves into the intrinsic mechanisms among the digital economy,green innovation,and regional economic resilience.The findings reveal that the digital economy and green innovation synergistically boost regional economic resilience.The impact of green innovation on regional economic resilience increases non-linearly with the elevation of digital economy levels.In the long term,digital economy,green innovation,and their synergistic effect will promote regional economic resilience.Therefore,governments should deepen collaboration,implement policies tailored to local conditions,and incentivize innovation.They should leverage the leadership of municipalities directly under the central government and provincial capitals to continuously enhance regional economic resilience.
