The teaching model of"promoting learning through competition"integrates practical teaching activities such as the characteristics of clothing design courses,the foundation and interest of vocational school students in clothing design,in order to enhance students'interest in learning the course and develop their hands-on operation and innovation abilities.This article ana-lyzes the advantages of the"competition driven learning"teaching model and its application in vocational clothing design cours-es.Starting from stimulating students'learning interest,improving their innovative thinking,developing their comprehensive abil-ities,and accumulating design experience,it proposes the specific application of the"competition driven learning"teaching mod-el in clothing design courses,aiming to provide new ideas for vocational education reform.
