Application of Coupling Agent Modified Chitosan Antibacterial Agent in Flax
Due to the poor solubility of chitosan in water, its application is limited.Using silane coupling agent to modify chi-tosan and applying the optimized modified product to linen fabric;test and characterize whether the finishing agent can success-fully treat linen fabric through thermal performance, scanning electron microscopy, and other analysis. The test results showed that the optimal finishing process was optimized through orthogonal experiments, with a bath ratio of 1∶30,a reaction time of 100 minutes,a reaction temperature of 45 ℃,and a finishing agent dosage of 30%(owf.).Under these conditions, the product had the best antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, with inhibition rates of 99.76%and 100%,respectively.
