Comparative study on Chinese and Western clothing aesthetic culture
There have been differences between Chinese and Western clothing aesthetics since ancient times.Chinese ancient clothing is implicit and restrained,while Western clothing pursues freedom and unrestrained.The differences in aesthetic culture stem from differences in cultural attributes,essence,and personality.This article analyzes the characteristics of harmony and conflict,seeking similarities and differences,implicit and assertive expression in Chinese and Western clothing cultures,in order to establish correct aesthetic and value systems for college students.I hope to help college students learn the concept of clothing design from three aspects:neutral thinking,matching appearance,and integrating innovation in clothing culture,cultivate beauti-ful character,and establish a confident life.
