From Mastering Teaching-skills to Developing Teaching-qualities:The Fundamental Pursuit of Good Teachers in the New Era
Teaching literacy refers to the professional teaching quality and self-cultivation shown by educators after receiving theo-retical professional learning and practical classroom,which is also the unique internal quality and external performance that educators working as teachers have.Teaching literacy is quite different from teaching skill or teaching ability for it includes not only teaching skill and teaching ability,but also contains other literacies,such as educational belief,professional knowledge,teaching vision,knowledge-integrated and education-cultivated consciousness,pedagogical thinking,innovative pursuit and educators'spirit which teachers should have.This paper tries to do comparative analysis of the similarities and differences among teaching literacy,teaching skills and teaching ability to explore the potential factors,forming conditions and development mechanism that influence educators'teaching litera-cies and discuss the related problems.Through this research,the paper was aimed to provide a strong support for the development of educators'teaching literacy and the exploration of new high-quality educational potentiality.
