The Relationship Between Teachers and Technology from Perspective of Technological Mediation Theory and Its Practical Implications
From the perspective of technological mediation theory, the relationship between teachers and technology is essentially a"co-constructuon"relationship.In the context of teachers'use of technology, teachers and technology shape each other. Not only does technology mediate teachers'experiences and actions, but teachers also handle, reconstruct, and even reshape technology. The theory of"co-construction"not only rejects the"replacement theory"and dispels the"fear theory",but also transcends the"pros-thesis theory"and the"complementary theory".Its practical implications lie in enabling us to re-recognize the status of teachers in the use of technology, clarify teachers'responsibilities in using technology, break through the functional understanding of technology, advocate the"art of using technology",and integrate teachers'educational value demands into technology design,so that teachers can truly make good use of technology.
