The Impact of the Vocational Education Development on Real Economy
Based on the provincial panel data from 2005 to 2021,the impact and mechanism of the vocational education on real e-conomy are examined through a two-way fixed-effect model.The study shows that vocational education can significantly promote real economy,and the robustness test confirms that the above finding is credible.Based on the heterogeneity analysis,it is found that voca-tional education has a greater effect on promoting real economy in areas with relatively less developed regions.Besides,the mechanism test indicates that vocational education promotes real economy by nurturing craftsmanship workers,improving new quality productivity and thriving entrepreneurial activity.Therefore,in order to build a better modern industrial system supported by the real economy,the Chinese path to vocational education modernizationshould be accelerated with the precision of development strategies focused.
