The necessity and methods of incorporating frequency measurement into acoustic environment monitoring
In recent years, complaints about noise pollution have accounted for a significant proportion of environmental pollution complaints nationwide.Acoustic environment monitoring is a crucial method for assessing and controlling acoustic environment quality. However, the current monitoring indicators are limited to sound pressure level. This paper, starting with low-frequency noise, clarifies the hazards of low-frequency noise, the importance of frequency in acoustic environment quality assessment, the role of frequency in noise source identification, and its contribution to the formulation of noise reduction measures and discusses the necessity of introducing frequency indicators into acoustic environment monitoring.Based on existing technologies, methods for measuring noise frequency indicators using handheld spectrum analyzers, sound source collection, and model calculation analysis are explored, aiming to provide references for improving the acoustic environment monitoring system, noise reduction measures, and the handling of noise pollution complaints.
