Application of β-cyclodextrin and its derivatives in heavy metal water treatment
β-Cyclodextrin,rich in hydroxyl groups,exhibits excellent adsorption and encapsulation effects on heavy metals.Characterized by high selectivity,non-toxicity,good chemical stability,and favorable reusability,it holds broad application prospects in heavy metal wastewater treatment.This paper discusses the latest domestic and international research progress on the treatment of heavy metal wastewater using β-cyclodextrin and its derivatives,highlighting their advantages in water treatment and providing an outlook on the future development and research directions of β-cyclodextrin and its derivatives in water treatment.
