Application of low-carbon concept in the environmental impact assessment of industrial park planning
With the rapid development of Chinese society, economic benefits are increasingly significant. However, while utilizing natural resources, people often neglect their value, leading to large-scale damage to ecosystems and causing a series of problems such as climate change. To address these issues,China has recognized the value of a low-carbon economy and has integrated low-carbon concepts more deeply into various areas of social development to comprehensively manage and limit carbon emissions.Given the high greenhouse gas emissions from industrial parks and the resulting significant pollution to nearby environments,it is essential to focus on efficient planning for all industrial parks and deeply integrate low-carbon concepts into environmental impact assessments(EIA)to achieve higher quality low-carbon development. This paper explores the specific application of the low-carbon concept in the current planning and environmental assessment processes of industrial parks, discussing its implementation methods to provide insights for industrial park planning and environmental assessment, promoting China's industrial development, building a more robust low-carbon industrial structure, and fostering industrial optimization and innovation.
