Empirical study on the effect evaluation of environmental impact assessment of county industrial projects:a case study of Wenxi County
This paper conducts an empirical analysis of the effectiveness of Environmental Impact Assessment(EIA)on county-level industrial projects in Wenxi County.By evaluating changes in environmental quality indicators,the role of EIA in project decision-making,and public participation and social feedback,the study reveals that EIA has had a positive impact in Wenxi County.However,there are currently issues with insufficient public participation and inadequate information disclosure.The study proposes improvements in evaluation methods,strengthening regulatory review,and enhancing public participation to provide insights for environmental management of county-level industrial projects.
