Discussion on influencing factors of hexavalent chromium determination in water by diphenylcarbazide photometric method
Chromium is a metal with a white luster, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, and high brittleness, which is currently widely used on the surfaces of other metals to impart durability.Hexavalent chromium is a common form of chromium in nature. With the advancement of the times and the development of the economy and society, water pollution caused by hexavalent chromium has become increasingly severe, greatly affecting the ecological environment and social development. Therefore, according to GB 7467-87 1987-08-01"Determination of Hexavalent Chromium in Water Quality-Diphenylcarbazide Spectrophotometric Method,"this paper conducts experimental analysis on the related methods for determining hexavalent chromium in water by diphenylcarbazide spectrophotometry, identifies relevant influencing factors, evaluates them, and uses experimental results to summarize and reflect the authenticity, accuracy, confidence, and applicability of the experimental results, hoping to provide reference and guidance for future work in the same field.
