Study on mechanical properties of alkali-excited mineral powder-sulfoaluminate cement
As a kind of early-strength and fast-hardening cement, sulfoaluminate cement has slow strength development in the late stage, and even the problem of strength inversion occurs, for this reason, the method of composite of mineral powder and alkali exciters with sulfoaluminate cement is proposed, and the performance of different dosage of alkali exciters as well as different substitution rate of mineral powder on the mechanical properties and drying and shrinkage properties of sulfoaluminate cement mortar is investigated respectively. The results show that the addition of appropriate alkali in cement mortar is beneficial to the development of strength, and under the synergistic effect of alkali and mineral powder, the strength of cement mortar at all ages is improved, especially at the later stage, and the maximum strength at 28 d can reach 61.3 MPa.The incorporation of alkali and mineral powder not only reduces the dosage of cement, but also the loss of strength brought about by the substitution of mineral powder for cement can be compensated for by the secondary reaction between alkali stimulant and mineral powder at the later stage of hydration, and the volume stability is good.
