Research and practice on the process-oriented assessment for Discrete Mathematics
Currently, most universities adopt a single closed-book exam as the main method of assessing the Discrete Mathematics course, which is not conducive to cultivating thinking abilities and comprehensive qualities of students. This article aims to study the procedural assessment and evaluation scheme applicable to the teaching of Discrete Mathematics at Anhui University.Firstly, the Rain Classroom is utilized to facilitate the entire teaching process, including pre-class preparation,in-class interaction,real-time monitoring, and post-class feedback.Secondly, the Youmooc intelligent platform is employed to effectively manage a wide range of teaching resources,as well as to design question banks and case libraries.Lastly,a procedural assessment scheme is developed, taking into account various evaluation indicators and weights, such as regular assignments, exams, classroom performance, and course innovation, along with corresponding score calculation formulas,in order to comprehensively and objectively assess the learning progress and skill development of students.Through the procedural assessment reform of the intelligent teaching platform, the procedural assessment criteria are improved, and a comprehensive reform of the assessment method for the Discrete Mathematics course is implemented.
