The installation and application of the Beidou-3 meteorological emergency backup system com-mand unit in Yunnan Province is an important part of the meteorological support project for flood and geo-logical disaster prevention at grassroots meteorological stations.With the use of new antennas,command units,and platforms,the Beidou-3 command unit has improved anti-interference capability,message transmission quality,and efficiency compared to the previous generation.It enables bidirectional communication with Bei-dou terminals for emergency information.The command unit is compatible with both Beidou-2 and Beidou-3 terminals,capable of managing hundreds of users simultaneously,Ensuring the transmission of meteorological data in the event of failures.The Beidou system provides necessary support for meteorological data transmis-sion.
