Analysis of Subway Travel Characteristics and Influencing Factors in Beijing
It is of great significance for the operation management of public transportation system and the understanding of the mechanism of social and economic phenomena to study the subway travel.Based on the traffic data of Beijing subway,this paper analyzes the temporal and spatial characteristics of subway travel,and explores the influencing factors of subway ridership.The results showed that the characteristics of subway travel in Beijing showed certain rules in terms of time and space distribution,and places such as consump-tion,enterprises,education,medical treatment,finance and transfer stations all had a certain impact on sub-way ridership.
