Study on Pavement Performance of AC-13 Asphalt Mixture
In order to better guide the design and construction of dense gradation AC-13 asphalt mixture,this paper studies the influence of gradation difference of AC-13 asphalt mixture on road performance,and analyzes the influence of porosity and optimum asphalt aggregate ratio on high temperature stability,low tem-perature crack resistance,water stability and skid resistance of asphalt mixture.The results show that the low-er limit of AC-13 gradation has better high temperature stability and skid resistance,and the upper limit of gradation has better low temperature crack resistance and water stability.The difference of road performance is mainly affected by void ratio,optimum oil-stone ratio and coarse-fine aggregate ratio.The lower limit of AC-13 gradation with larger porosity has a larger structural depth,which is helpful to improve the skid re-sistance and is suitable for improving the safety of the upper layer of asphalt pavement.
