A beam bridge refers to a bridge that uses beams or truss beams as the main load-bearing structure,and its upper structure only generates vertical reactions at the support points under vertical loads.Beam type bridges are one of the basic systems of bridges,and their construction and erection are relatively convenient,accounting for a large proportion in bridge construction.In prefabricated beam bridges,hollow slabs,small box beams,T-beams,and other structural forms are more common.Through years of experience in the operation of expressways in various regions,it has been found that a batch of prefabricated beam bridges located on large longitudinal slope sections have experienced regular and systematic diseases such as pier column offset and excessive longitudinal sliding of bearings,seriously endangering the safety of the structure and operation.It is easy to cause sudden and major catastrophic safety accidents and should be highly valued.
