Comparative Analysis of the Effect of Different Methods to Eliminate Welding Residual Stress
The welding residual stress not only affects the strength of the pressure parts of the centrifugal pump,but also the deformation is not conducive to the control of the installation accuracy,and then affects the stability of the centrifugal pump.Therefore,it is important to study the effect of different methods to remove the welding residual stress and select the welding residual stress removal method suitable for the pressure parts of the centrifugal pump for the stable operation of the centrifugal pump.By measuring the residual stress of the pressure parts of the pump cover before and after stress relief by different methods,the results show that the integral heat treatment plus surface sandblasting can eliminate 73％of the residual stress,and the effect is the most obvious.Local heat treatment can eliminate 44.8％of the residual stress.Vibration aging has not achieved the effect of stress reduction.
