Study on Water Quality Parameter Prediction Models using Ultraviolet Absorption Spectroscopy
Ultraviolet absorption spectroscopy is a rapid, straightforward, and environmentally friendly tech-nology for detecting water quality without causing secondary pollution. The prediction model for water chemical oxygen demand and turbidity, developed using twin convolutional neural networks, demonstrates exceptional ac-curacy even with limited sample sizes. When applied to real water samples, the R2 value can reach as high as 0.97.This level of precision surpasses that of other models, making it a valuable tool for online monitoring of chemical oxygen demand and turbidity pollution levels in water bodies.
