Application of Small and Medium Diameter Core Drilling Method in Strength Testing of Water Conservancy Thin Wall Components
The strength testing methods for thin-walled water conservancy components are diverse, and drilling core sampling is a commonly used method. The article combines water conservancy engineering examples and focuses on the application points of small and medium-sized diameter drilling method in strength testing. It proposes a drilling scheme, conducts experimental design and specimen processing, analyzes the failure mode of specimens, and evaluates whether the strength of thin-walled components meets the standard based on the measured compressive strength.Through research,it has been found that the testing results of D70H50 core specimens with a height to diameter ratio of 0.71 are reliable in evaluating the compressive strength of thin-walled prefabricated components. They can accurately reflect the strength of thin-walled components and reduce damage caused by core drilling. The research content can be used as a reference for colleagues and effectively carry out strength testing of thin-walled components.
