Magnetic Particle Motion Simulation Analysis in Magnetorheological Elastomers
To gain a deeper understanding of the process of magnetic particle chain formation in magne-torheological elastomers under an external magnetic field,a dynamical analysis of magnetic particles was con-ducted.This led to the development of a kinematic model for the magnetic particles.Using COMSOL Multi-physics finite element analysis software,a multi-physical field coupling analysis involving magnetic fields, solid mechanics, and fluid dynamics was performed on the magnetic particles. It was found that magnetized particles generate areas of attraction and repulsion, leading to attractive and repulsive interactions with other particles, and thus forming magnetic chains.Under the same external magnetic field strength, the initial dis-tribution position of two magnetic particles affects the time of contact.Within an angle of 0° to 60°,the greater the angle, the longer the time of contact. When the distribution angle is 90°,the two magnetic parti-cles will repel each other.
