Sensitivity Analysis of Diaphragm Coupling Stiffness to Self-excited Vibration of Tail Shaft
According to the dynamic design requirements of helicopter tail transmission shafting,a spline-diaphragm coupling-shafting dynamic model is established with reference to the structural form of a certain helicopter tail transmission shaft. The sensitivity of the effect of isotropic stiffness of diaphragm coupling on self-excited vibration of tail shaft system is discussed. The results show that the self-excited vibration re-sponse of shafting is most sensitive to the change of angular stiffness of diaphragm coupling and is generally sensitive to the change of torsional stiffness.the influence of radial stiffness and axial stiffness on shafting self-excited vibration can be ignored when the change of radial stiffness and axial stiffness is small.
