Research on the Application of Drop Hammer Deflection Gauge in Highway Inspection
The Falling Weight Deflectometer(FWD)is a pulse dynamic deflection detection instrument,mainly composed of a load generator,deflection detector,calculation system,and other parts.By simulating the impact force generated by the vehicle during driving on the road structure layer,the deformation data of the road surface is detected to achieve the purpose of detecting the deflection value of the road structure layer,which can reflect the comprehensive load-bearing capacity of the road structure.Due to its fast detec-tion speed,no damage to the road surface,and high detection accuracy,it is widely used in highway pave-ment deflection detection.This article briefly discusses the application of the drop hammer deflection instru-ment in highway pavement deflection detection
