Exploration of the Application of Ground Penetrating Radar in Detecting Highway Sinkholes(Hidden Holes)
With the development of the economy,the scale of highway construction in China is getting larger and larger,giving wings to the economic development of various regions.In road projects that have al-ready been put into operation,necessary maintenance work must be carried out to ensure the safety of road operation.In daily inspections,only surface diseases can be seen,but at this time,there may be significant safety hazards inside the road,such as sinkholes and hidden holes.At this point,it is necessary to use ground penetrating radar to conduct a physical examination of the highway.Ground penetrating radar can not only perform general quality inspections on highways,but also detect hidden diseases such as potholes and voids inside the road,in order to detect them early.
