Application of Carbon Fiber Board Reinforcement and Reinforcement Technology in Bridge Maintenance Engineering
A super high vehicle collision accident occurred at a certain highway overpass,resulting in severe damage to the bottom of the box girder of the overpass,severe exposed reinforcement at the bottom of the girder,and partial breakage of prestressed steel strands.In response to the above situation,a comparison of maintenance plans was conducted on site.Among the four schemes of prestressed carbon fiber board reinforcement,box beam replacement,external prestressed steel bundle reinforcement,and external open steel box reinforcement,the carbon fiber board reinforcement scheme was selected from multiple aspects such as impact on traffic,construction difficulty,engineering cost,and reinforcement effect.Finally,the damaged box beam was reinforced with carbon fiber board reinforcement scheme.
