This paper explores the innovative use of Building Information Modeling(BIM)and cloud stor-age in engineering document management.As engineering projects and information volumes increase,tradition-al document management methods reveal limitations.By integrating BIM and cloud storage,our goal is to en-hance the accessibility and sharing of engineering documents while reducing storage costs.The paper intro-duces the fundamental principles of BIM and cloud storage,detailing their integrated application.Using a case study of an engineering document management system in a residential community,the paper analyzes the advantages,providing valuable insights for construction units involved in project document management.
