This paper was test and analysis the highway performance assessment of SMA structural pave-ment in maintenance engineering in the past 3 yeas.It is found that the SMA structural pavement show high pavement maintenance quality Index and can effectively slow down the development of roads pavement dam-age.It is suitable for the surface layer of road with heavy traffic loads in arid and semi-arid areas of north-west China.
