At present, the circular polarization-maintaining beam splitter composed of linear polarization beam splitter and quarter-wave plate has unavoidable alignment errors when applied in optical fiber systems. In this paper,a circular polarization-maintaining fiber beam splitter based on dual-core dielectric chiral pho-tonic crystal fiber is proposed.Simulation results show that the splitter has shorter coupling length of 57.46 mm at a central wavelength(=1.55μm)under a weak chiral background(δ=27.6°/mm),the extinction ratio of ER=41.25 dB in the center band and the spectral width is 14 nm when ER>20 dB,the beam splitter can be applied to optical integration, optical fiber communication and optical fiber sensing.
