With the continuous improvement of road network in our country,the total highway mileage is increasing every year,but it has also brought a new problem.Highway maintenance has become more and more serious.At present,many highway maintenance units continue to try to use new materials,new equip-ment and new technology to maintain the highway,so as to achieve the purpose of driving comfort,safety,cost saving and road use extension.As one of the preventive maintenance measures,the technology of fiber asphalt gravel sealing layer has been paid more and more attention,which can be used not only as the lower sealing layer,but also as the abrasion layer of newly laid pavement for preventive maintenance of highway.Based on the background of preventive maintenance of a highway pavement,this paper briefly introduces its construction technology and effect evaluation.
