Study on Expansion Characteristics of Cement Stabilized Gravel Semi-rigid Base
In order to reduce the arch expansion deformation of cement stabilized gravel semi-rigid base, the expansion characteristics and influencing factors of cement stabilized gravel were studied based on a highway project. The results show that the interlocking effect of skeleton dense gradation coarse aggregate can effectively reduce the total deformation and expansion coefficient of cement stabilized gravel. The expansion coefficient of cement stabilized materials prepared by two kinds of aggregates is not much different, and the expansion deformation of cement stabilized limestone is slightly smaller. The total deformation and expansion coefficient of cement stabilized gravel continue to increase with the increase of cement dosage, indicating that the increase of cement dosage is unfavorable to the anti-arching expansion performance of cement stabilized gravel.
