Research on Stability Influence Factors of a Continuous Rigid Frame Bridge with Long Span and High Piers in Mountainous Area
To investigate bridge stability at the highest pier stage, the maximum cantilever stage and the completion stage under various load combinations, the finite element model of a continuous rigid frame bridge with long span and high piers in Sichuan Province is established. The stability influence of pile-soil effect, concrete strength, pier highest and wall thickness is analyzed. The research shows that the stability of rigid frame bridge is the most unfavorable when one side suspending crane falling at the maximum cantilever stage. The wind load and temperature effect have minor influence on structure stability, but the effect of pile-soil interaction is great. The structure stability increase with the concrete strengthen improvement, but the promotion decreases continuously. And the research results can give good reference to the stability analysis of continuous rigid frame bridges with long span and high piers in mountainous area.
