Analysis of the Influence of Descent Rate on the Internal Forces of Unstable Reservoir Bank Slopes
The slope of the Lining Highway, located within the reservoir area of the Jinsha River Power Station, has experienced multiple collapses and landslides due to the influence of water level fluctuations. This article uses GEO-SLOPE software to establish a two-dimensional seepage stability model for the slope of the Lining Highway in this area, and simulates the safety and stability of the reservoir bank under different water level drop rates. It is found that as the water level drop rate of the reservoir increases, the reservoir bank becomes more unstable, the pore water pressure decreases, the normal force shear force continues to increase, and the soil safety factor will be improved.Relevant slope prevention measures are proposed to provide relevant basis for the treatment of the slope in this section and the construction of new highways in the future.
