Operation Practice of Improving Gas Utilization Efficiency in Wuhan Iron and Steel No.8 Blast Furnace
The utilization rate of blast furnace gas is an important indicator that reflects the level of blast furnace operation technology,and is also one of the main ways to reduce blast furnace fuel consumption and production costs.This article analyzes the reasons that affect the gas utilization rate based on the actual situation of the No.8 blast furnace in WISCO,Comprehensive adjustments are made from several aspects such as raw fuel management,distribution system,air supply system,material structure,and furnace type management,gradually increasing the gas utilization rate from 48.1％to 49.9％and reducing the fuel ratio from 503.9 kg/t to 495.9 kg/t,achieving good economic and technical indicators.
