Parametric Modeling Study of Arch in"Engineering Practice Rules"Based on Revit
Autodesk Revit is one of the important modeling software for BIM.Taking the architectural component single-crossed and heavy-angled arch recorded in the official architectural book"Engineering Practice Rules"of the Qing Dynasty as an example,we combed its construction form through literature research and picture evidence as well as on the basis of the study of the modulus of the official architecture of the Qing Dynasty and used the advantage of parameterization of Revit to create a three-dimensional model of the classic architectural component and visualized the results for virtual display. The study shows that using the data recorded in the literature as the data source, the 3D recovery of the building components of the Qing Dynasty can be realized, and this method is conducive to the improvement of the BIM"family"database, and it also provides a new research idea for the protection and recovery of ancient buildings, which is of great practical significance.
