Innovative BIM Design of Roads in Complex Environments in Mountainous Areas under the Dual Carbon Goal
China has set carbon peaking targets by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060.In this context,the road design adopts BIM technology,combined with the concept of the whole life cycle,and ensures that the information is accurate and smooth through the design and construction,cost estimation and operation and maintenance management through the 3D digital model.Through BIM technology,highway engineering can an-ticipate potential construction and operational issues in the planning and design phases,and achieve effective management and optimization of resources.The project not only meets the dual carbon goals,but also reduces long-term operation and maintenance costs and promotes the sustainability of the entire highway system.
