Design and Operation Debugging of an Online Monitoring System for Overheating Faults in Low-voltage Switchgear in Power Plant Substations
This article analyzes the hardware and software design of a three line monitoring system for overheating faults in low-voltage switchgear. It is proposed to use a fiber optic temperature monitoring instrument to monitor the low-voltage switchgear during hardware design, and use a single bus digital temperature sensor to read temperature data. The software system adopts a multi-threaded programming mode, which has designed three functions:temperature display control, temperature alarm prompt, and data communication. Finally, through on-site installation and debugging, the stability of the online monitoring system was verified. Its function can meet the pre control requirements for low-voltage switch overheating faults in power plant substations and ensure the safe operation of the switchgear.
