Simulation Study on the Characteristics of Laser Cutting Stainless Steel Section
In order to further improve the laser processing quality of stainless steel,this paper took the end flow velocity as the evaluation index,fully considered the coupling relationship among the processing quality,nozzle structure and auxiliary gas flow field characteristics,and set an air shield around the nozzle to optimize the gas flow field.The gas flow characteristics of laser processing were studied from the perspectives of auxiliary gas pressure and nozzle structure.The results show that the improved nozzle structure can form a higher flow rate in the slit,enhance the bunching property,and improve the cutting ability.
