Effect of Different Width-height Ratios on Prestressed Concrete Beams with Steel Strands
To study the deformation characteristics of steel strand prestressed concrete beams with different width-to-height ratios,a construction method with one end fixed and one end tensioned was used for steel strand prestressed concrete beams with the same span and the same reinforcement ratio. The overall deforma-tion,tensioned end deformation, tensioned end stress, and tensioned end concrete plastic damage of the structures were analyzed for width-to-height ratios of 1/2,9/20,2/5,7/20 and 3/10.The research results indi-cate that adopting different width-to-height ratios significantly affects the sectional stress and concrete plastic damage at the fixed end. When the width-to-height ratio is lower than 7/20,the structural deformation in-creases significantly.
