In light of the considerable challenges posed by the high water table of field irrigation cisterns, including difficulties in the construction process of mechanical excavation, the laying of composite geomembranes, and the operation of the cistern bottom floatation force, among others,a set of optimal technical characteristics was ultimately selected. These included unidirectional drainage of the composite geomembrane technology and other features designed to control seepage, collect and drain water, and enhance overall performance. It is essential to ensure that drainage is conducted through the precipitation well to guarantee the normal construction process. The utilization of one-way drainage composite geomembrane seepage control technology is a crucial aspect of this process. In areas with high water tables, the geomembrane facilitates water flow through the one-way drainage valve into the cistern. This valve is designed to automatically close when the groundwater level reaches a certain point, preventing any reverse water flow or leakage. To prevent the reverse water flow or leakage,to solve the groundwater issue on the geomembrane, and to prevent the destructive effect of the cistern,it is essential to ensure the safe operation of the cistern and the high-efficiency water-saving irrigation project.
