Study on the bonding properties of compound feed binder of Procambarus clarkii
In order to screen out the adhesives for the production of shrimp and crab aquatic pellet feed, four adhe-sives,sodium alginate, gelatin, bentonite and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, were selected for the production of pellet feed of Procambarus clarkii in small batch. The water resistance, dissolution loss rate and its effect on the feeding rate of Procambarus clarkii were evaluated. After the culture experiment, the stability and dissolution loss rate of feed added with different adhesives in water were observed and calculated, and the effects of different adhe-sives on the feeding rate of Procambarus clarkii were compared, and the adhesives suitable for Procambarus clarkii feed were selected as indicators. The results showed that the water resistance time of the four kinds of adhesives was 45′24″,31′53″,37′09″and 32′26″,respectively.Sodium alginate had the best water resistance and the lowest dis-solution loss rate in water(26.21%).The loss of gelatin was the highest(58.42%).After 7 days of feeding,it was found that sodium alginate as a binder had little effect on the feeding rate of Procambarus clarkii, and the palat-ability was better. The results showed that sodium alginate had the best water resistance and the lowest dissolution rate under the same dosage of the four kinds of adhesives, which was suitable for shrimp and crab pellet feed under the condition of small batch production of experimental feed.
