Effect of culture density on the growth performance of Oncorhynchus mykiss
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of different culture densities on the growth performance of triploid Oncorhynchus mykiss seedlings.A total of 16800 open seedlings of the same batch with body weight of 0.17g and body length of 2.93cm were selected.6 breeding density groups of 200,400,600,800,1000 and 1200 were set up,namely M1 group,M2 group,M3 group,M4 group,M5 group and M6 group, with 3 replicates per group. The experiment period was 2 months, during which the body length(cm),body weight(g)and surviv-al rate of seedlings were recorded. The results showed that the filling coefficient and survival rate of M3 group were the highest, and there were significant differences between M3 group and other groups(P<0.05).At the end of the experiment, there were no significant differences in body weight, body length, weight gain rate and specific growth rate between M2 group and M2 group(P>0.05).M1 group showed the best growth performance, but the survival rate of M1 group was only 93.2%,which was significantly different from that of M3 group 98.1%(P<0.05).The results showed that the optimum breeding density of triploid Oncorhynchus mykiss larvae was M3 group(6667 fish/m3)at the temperature of 11℃~13℃,and the growth performance and survival rate of Oncorhynchus mykiss larvae were better.
