Experimental study on raising Aristichthys nobilis with compound feed in ponds in Chongqing area
This paper mainly discussed the feasibility of using expanded compound feed to raise Aristichthys nobilis in ponds in Chongqing. In this study,7 406 Aristichthys nobilis with an initial body weight of(185.40±3.63)g and 1955 Hypophthalmichthys molitrix with an initial body weight of(115.40±3.47)g were selected for culture ex-periments for nearly 19 months. The results showed that the weight gain rate of Aristichthys nobilis was(1 329.86±26.84)%and the survival rate was 90%.The weight gain rate of Hypophthalmichthys molitrix was(2021.00±75.45)%,and the survival rate was 80%.The profit of yield per mu was 3 273.59 yuan. These results indicated that the growth performance and economic benefit of Aristichthys nobilis could be improved by using expanded com-pound feed. The paper also discussed the biological characteristics, breeding mode, feed requirements of bighead carp and the influence of pond main bighead carp on market and fishery structure adjustment. The results can pro-vide a theoretical basis for the popularization and application of the Aristichthys nobilis model in ponds.
