Prospect of ecological fisheries development in Huayang River Lake Group
Located on the left bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in China,the Huayang River Lake Group is one of the most important bases for the development of large-surface fisheries in Susong Coun-ty.Due to its unique wetland ecological environment and rich biodiversity,the Huayang River lake cluster plays a key role in maintaining wetland ecosystems,lake ecological security,and socio-economic development of the lake area.However,with the continuous intensification of human activities,especially under the wide application of tri-ple-net farming at the end of the 20th century,the ecological environment of the Huayang River lake cluster has been seriously affected,with the gradual deterioration of water quality and the significant decline of biodiversity.In recent years,with the promotion of national ecological protection policy,the Huayang River lake cluster has carried out large-scale ecological restoration work,which has laid the foundation for the development of ecological fisher-ies.In this paper,we will discuss in depth the current situation of the development of ecological fishery in Huayang River lake cluster,the existing challenges,and look forward to its future development path.
