Current situation and development countermeasures of rice-fish co-cropping model in Xinjiang region
This paper introduces the situation and typical cases of the integrated development of rice planting and fishery in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,and points out the problems in the development of rice fishery indus-try,such as lack of complete overall planning and effective management,contradiction between mechanized rice planting and traditional development mode of aquaculture,and lack of corresponding management experience of op-erators.The countermeasures and suggestions for the development of rice-fishery co-operation mode,such as im-proving development planning,planning high-grade projects,formulating preferential policies to support industrial development,strengthening supervision and management,strengthening practitioners'training,strengthening infra-structure construction,improving industry visibility,and strengthening scientific and technological support,are put forward,which can be referenced by relevant departments.
