Research on structural optimization of plasma generator baffle
The efficient filter is a critical component of an air purifier, when the airflow directed towards the efficient filter is uneven,it results in lower utilization of the filter, thereby affecting its filtering performance. To enhance the efficiency of the filter and consequently improve the purification performance of the device,a flow-guiding plasma generator can be placed between the fan and the efficient filter. This generator utilizes guiding plates to direct the airflow more evenly towards the filter. To investigate the suitable structural parameters of these guiding plates, numerical simulations were employed to analyze the flow processes under various structural parameters.By comparing indicators such as filter utilization and airflow uniformity, suitable design schemes for the length and opening angle of the guiding plates were proposed. The research findings indicated that, for the dimensions of the purifier studied in this paper,a guiding plate with a length of 100 mm and an opening angle of 10°resulted in more uniform airflow. The optimized design of the rear guiding plate was simple,well-designed,and convenient to use.It dispersed the direction of the airflow, thereby significantly enhancing the utilization and lifespan of the rear efficient filter.
